I trained as a Foot Health Practitioner, with The SMAE Institute, a private foot care school based in Maidenhead, Surrey, under the supervision of my late father, who was a chiropodist. I took over the family practice in Tonbridge, Kent in December 2007 working within beauty salons and making home visits, before opening my own surgery in January 2013. I moved to Cornwall in 2014 and live on the Penzance-Newlyn border.
I am usually quite a jolly character and pride myself on working thoroughly to make sure that you enjoy your treatment and leave my care fully satisfied. Not all foot complaints can be cured but I will always do my best to ensure you feel more comfortable and that you have had the care and attention that you deserve. I understand that many people are nervous of having their feet treated and work my hardest to make you feel at ease and be gentle but firm to make sure that I do a good job. I have had great success in treating ingrowing toenails and corns. I have also helped many people to recover from fungal infections and repairing their thickened nails. I also have a high success rate treating verrucas and as a mum myself, aim to help little ones to be free of them without coming away frightened of medical treatments and practitioners.
Most of all I love my job and I love being with people, so I look forward to meeting you and helping to make you feel so much more comfortable and getting you walking on air as soon as I can.
I will be available on Mondays at The Attic Cellar Treatment Rooms and I also continue to make home visits if that is more convenient for you.
My price includes a foot health examination, toe nail trim and file, treatment of main complaint and other foot concerns, nail treatment, cream and massage.
